Careers with us are both rewarding and fun. We are constantly looking for enthusiastic team members to join our clan, and always welcome applicants. Seasonal employment is available for those perhaps on holiday from school or university and a variety of positions are available. Career progression and training is available. We are a friendly and hard working team and enjoy each others’ company socially as well as professionally.
Our bar staff are key members of the local community, and form an intrinsic part of our offering. Bar staff need to be attentive, fun and patient, as well as highly organised and observant.
Our waiting staff are attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. There are waiting positions available at both The Royal and The Runswick Bay Hotel.
We take on apprentices in a variety of fields, including cheffing, business management and hospitality. Training is involved and fun and our apprentices gain a qualification in the industry whilst being paid.
Chef positions are available at all levels, from pot washing and commis chef up to fine dining. We like to employ chefs with a can do attitude who are able to work in confined spaces, sometimes creating hundreds of meals a day.
